ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER
This role leads and directs the teams across functions across different sectors. Critical to this role are on-time delivery of projects, maintaining budget and quality outcomes for the customers. The Assistant Project Manager will plan, and monitor projects and campaigns to meet defined requirements, identify key resources and provide direction recommendations required to meet project objectives.
As an Assistant Project Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Ensuring that project objectives, project schedules and budgets are established and followed
- Ensuring that the Contract is managed in accordance with Customer needs.
- Monitoring and managing quality, reliability, qualification, progress and cost and initiate appropriate corrective actions as required.
- Ensuring correct resource levels are established and maintained for all elements of work.
- Ensuring that all necessary project admin functions are established and organized in a way that ensure effective and safe execution of Scope of Work (SoW).
- Generate, cost reporting templates and continually monitor, control and report on cost performance throughout project life cycle.
Requirement
- University degree
- At least 2 yrs experience in project management
- Critical thinking ability
- Ability to demonstrate project management skills and experience in project leadership.
- Use of project management tools
- Have fluent oral and written communication skills.
